This is where you can sell what you grow, buy what you need to create floral art, request growers to grow particular species, source hard to find species, share knowledge and build community networks.

Petals to the People gives gardeners and creative people a place to earn a little from their land and craft while sharing the beauty and inspiration of their hard work with others.
It’s an online hub where you can showcase what you grow, create, or supply. It’s also where you can discover what flowers are in season near you, learn how to arrange them yourself, or connect with a talented floral artist.

We are new
The future thriving flower market and community cannot be built in a day, or even a year. Please join, and stick with us, provide feedback and suggestions for improvements.
There will be bugs, and teething issues, but I need your help to find, report and have patience with! I have set this up and run it on my own, so
As we gain people, I can afford to implement better functionality on the site, such as a forum to share knowledge, a place to display your past work, mobile payments etc. I have so many plans!
Petals supports community networks
Beginning in Taranaki, Petals To The People can be used throughout New Zealand. Our initial members will be in Taranaki while we develop - but there's nothing stopping you joining up in other areas. If you want to take part, let others in your region know, and as I see the need, I will contact more people / groups in your area to let them know we are 'in town'!
How to Buy:
- sign up as a site member
- browse or search items for sale or particular shops
- message / contact sellers privately to ask questions
- purchase through the website, or organise with seller to pay in cash on pick-up/delivery
How to Sell
- sign up as a site member
- purchase a subscription to sell - these are based on number of items to sell & how long you wish to have them for sale for
- set-up the shop yourself or set up your shop yourself with instructions
- you will have a shop dashboard - answer messages, take payments online or in person, see statistics on what you have sold, add items for sale
- purchase promotional options such as featured item or space on the homepage banner display to improve visibility of your products or shop
